It's a blast if you're riding someone else's bike

pffffftttt..... teaches you one main thing..... how far you can slide after crashing!!!

i've had to race in the rain 4 or 5 times. i've crashed at least once each time it rained. if you wanna foot around and be in the back of the racing pack, by all means, learn to be EXTREMELY smooth and go slow. if you push up front, you'll find yourself finding the limits sooner than later.

if you have no aspirations of being a career racer.... why add the higher level of risk? just sit out, wait for it to dry up, or call it a day. riding on the racetrack in the rain is NOT going to teach you much when all you're thinking about is not crashing. it only teaches a lil somethin to those that want to find the limits of traction.

doing a trackday or racing, if I am at the track and it rains I still ride until it is deemed unsafe. Rain helps you to be smooth by focusing on it,something we often lose focus of at the need for speed, but can also give you bad habits. You can trail into the corners but not as hard and have to maintain neutral throttle until the bike is upright. definitely helps to soften then suspension some. Every rider has his/her preference, mine is if it is going to rain then let it rain. I hate playing weather man at the track and a wrong decision cost me a championship last season as well as the race win. if it's going to rain, let it rain and put on the wets.

I dunno, that guy had kinda been going wide and little inconsistent with lines...

On the wipe out was the most I saw the bike lean too, think that was more skill failure than wet spot.
