I know my neck gets sore after a couple runs; trying to see thru the corner behind you is tough!

Thinking I'll take the TLR this trip... hundred less pounds to toss around.

There are no roads to compare in Texas.. best I can say is take the tightest sections in the Hill Country and subtract the straights and add a hundred miles or so

Updates are in the very first post so check back on that

Also, please make a note on the list if you have been to Deals Gap before...
Bwahaha! If it wasn't for that culvert, I wouldn't have the schweet job assignment that I do now. Everything for a reason, I guess.

I've never been to Deals Gap...just the sisters and the roads around Lake Travis.

Although I'm not in the top 10 priority group at the moment, my trailer offer stands. 4 bikes easily...possibly more. My vehicle will carry four adults comfortably, but five will be snug. My plan is to have everything packed and loaded Sunday night and be on the road by 5:00 Monday morning. Google maps has it at around 14 hours from Clear Lake. Anyone riding with me is welcome to crash at my place Sunday night. I will have plenty of room.

It was 16 hrs from the NW side last time.
Leave way early if you plan to drive straight thru; very dark in those mountains.
Also plan for heavy holiday traffic around the lakes
Try not to route thru the Gap on 129. You will NOT like taking any kind of trailer thru there, especially a 16 ft.

64 thru Andrews, 129 and 28 are two lane, twisty similar to 337 in the Hill Country... so just be advised. I will actually go the long way to the south, just to avoid towing over the Dragon on a holiday weekend and f--king it up for other riders.

List will change around based on who is riding with whom.

And we always have about half actually go that are on the early lists.

I would recommend that if you are definately, no doubt, for sure, absolutely no going.. hit up the others on the list and get firm commitments/trailer buddies and let me know. I'll adjust the list accordingly.

I am just saying I will lock in two cabins; I'll be sure and post up the locations so someone else can put another on their card if need be!

There is also a nice hotel there, so if you would rather be pampered thats your choice!
