I was looking at the Fontana Village Resort for accomodations and it looks like all the 4 BR cabins are sold out for those dates already. Lots of 3BR and rooms at the lodge at this time.

Most of the 4 room sleep couples unless you guys want to double up, only 4 beds
The 3 room can sleep up to 5 guys (king and 4 single beds)

I also have a foldup army cot is someone wants to really rough it.

Rooms in the hotel aren't too pricey but it works out cheaper if 4-5 can split a cabin.

I'll reserve one cabin in a month or so; plenty of time since most groups do weekends and the weeknights are slow, especially in the non-summer months (which is why I go then )

And if we get 10 people on the list the normal result is 4-5 actually show up.

That sounds like the way to go, I wasn't able to tell the bedding configuration for the 3br. A cot or sleeping bag will work for me if it comes down to that, a country boy will survive!

Looks like a 24 foot rental truck may hold up to 12 bikes...
