I'm home...lower back feels like there's a camp fire burning in it...

Now I'm off to Herman Park to do a photoshoot for a client...

Nice meeting Eric, Kevin, Colin, Craig, Bevo, Lawrence, Bruce and the guy with the brick scar on his head...

Thanks for lettin me ride in the back...brick guy was behind me the whole time monitoring me - like a guardian or protector or a loving parent...I felt connected to him in a bro-friend sort of way...

Got some good "don't do dumb stuff" advice as well...accepted it with open arms...

Great freakin ride...

Great ride today guys. Took the bike by Wild West on the way home. The squeaking turned out to be a failing wheel bearing. They didn't think it was dangerous but didn't recommend any "hard" riding. Oooops.

I know of coarse safety reasons and the temp today was great for 3 of you that were wearing full leathers but how does it treat you in warmer weather? Or do you swap out for some other riding gear?

My leathers are perforated so they don't help much with the cold. I was wearing a suit liner and thermal shirt under the leathers.

I always wear leathers on weekend rides no matter what the temps. They're not going to do me any good if I leave them hanging in my closet. When it's 100 degrees they're fine as long as you're moving

Sometimes I rock jeans and a leather jacket. Safety gear is up to you. Next time you ride look at the pavement going by and ask yourself how would it feel if I were to go down. The more the marrier is my opinion.

Good to know. Didn't know that the perforation helped that much with air flow.

Yup. Road rash = no fun had some minor rash on my calf. burned like a !! Good thing the jacket was armored.

Wear perforated leathers only when it's below 70 and you'll see how much air flows through them

In my experience the helmet is the hottest gear we wear.

I wear preforated gear in the warmer temps. Need to get some leather pants, that's the only piece of gear I don't own.

Pants can rip off... A one piece is the best choice.
