2013 Hondas are out

In particular, check out the new 600RR.

http://powersports.honda.com/2013/cbr600rr.aspx

Also, the CB1100 and CBR500R are pretty sweet looking; the 500R looks very similar to it's (much) bigger brother, the 1kRR.

In 2008 I had a feeling that the cb1100r was going to be tamed down should it ever reach production. :( Here's a photo I saved of the prototype:

OOps photobucket changed and it took longer than five minutes (my edit time limit) to learn how to navigate it. Maybe later when there's more time

That Gold Wing thingy is rather um, interesting. I see what they're trying to do there.

It really surprised me that they are bringing all 3 of the new 500 cc models to the US.

I'm underwhelmed. That is new models R&D on the cheap for you. The 500cc are a good move. The GW cruiser (yes, they listed it under cruisers as well) isn't bad, but ferchrissake a $20k bike deserves a motorized windscreen.

I was expecting the Crosstour 1200. Nope. ST1300 replacement? Nada.

Honda's line up is looking might geriatric these days. Their display at the IMS Dallas was poor, with less than a 1/3 of their line-up presented. I was looking forward to seeing the '12 VFR1200 and it was a no show.

At this point I'm going to have a heart attack due to surprise if they ever really get a ST1300 replacement out. We've been waiting for that one so long...

But on the other hand, my wife's 2005 ST can still pass for the latest model until they do update it!

The CB1000R looked interesting for a semi naked bike. The single sided swing arm still catches me.

not sure how i feel about the new 600rr...i'm still not a huge fan of the under tail exhaust. would like to see a centralized under-slung system like the 1k. would also like to see the gauge pod from the 1k on the 600. glad they finally did get away from the 3 spoke rims though. the 12 spokes look good. definitely not crazy about the solid red color scheme. but the repsol and red/wht/blu looks good.

the gold wing looks like an attempt to make an "old mans" bike cool again. or something. not sure what they were thinking there. and they are a little late to be jumping on the murdered out band wagon. that's like so 2008. but hey it's a honda, it'll last forever.

cbr500: cool.

cb1100: cool. i'd rock it, don't judge me.

cb500x: kinda cool. not sure there's a huge demand for it though.

ST1300...oh wait nvm.

Don't quite fancy it myself. I like the pointy nose like the 2013 ZX6R and zx10r

I like the looks of the CB1100, but throwing a modern fully adjustable suspension on it (like the griso or Harley XR1200X) wouldn't spoil it one bit.

The cbr600rr is a disappointment for me... The repsol scheme saves it a bit.

The CBR500 might be an option for the woman. Not sure about the power v. Ninja 650 (front runner at this point).

So they turned the cbr600rr into an older generation R6. Why did they make it so ugly?
