I think i saw you checking those Kawi's out at the shop on Saturday. I ducked in there to BS with my buddy Alex, one of the salesman. Jeff is an awesome guy! I wanted a Rossi R1 and he found me one; and sold it to me for next to nothing! If you are a loyal customer and keep coming back to them they will take really good care of you. I've bought 3 Yamahas from them; so they were a little ticked when I bought my RC8R! They give me all the time about it; but those guys are all cool. I still get my parts from them and service when I can.

The guys at Yamaha of Houston are bar none the best guys to talk to. Genuine bike guys, great attitude, and love to chew rags whether you are serious about buying a bike or not.

I'm playing hookie on Friday and will attending their Kawi Lanuch/Customer appreciation day. Hope to see some of you guys out there. Volf; just sale that Kawi and come over to the KTM RC8R dark side! That will fill the void in your soul left behind by the Ape!

that ape! You have no idea how many times - since I sold it - I push the starter button of my bike(s) and wish for the staccato of the Rotax V-twin.

Resist... the dark side... you must.

I doubt if I will ever own anything other than a V-Twin sport! I rode the RC8R like Seattle Slew on Saturday and she was begging for more, it was as if she was telling me "that's all you got"...which I have heard more than a few times.

Dark side? Really? Please don't up this thread about your KTM. I swear to if I buy a bike and post it..you it up I will donkey punch you in the throat. Let Jeff have his fun and enjoy the compliments of his beautiful bike..besides it looks better than the KTM anyway.
