What I like most is the wind keeping me from getting much faster than 95 and feeling comfortable, having the wind keeping me awake if I am tired and lastly the ability to see the mechanics of the bike.

They're more a comfortable riding position, and if you drop them it's not a $500+ dollar mistake.

Squids are attracted to bikes with fairings so naked bikes tend to have much lower insurance costs. My FZ1 cost one-tenth the rate of my R1.

That Buell sure is purdy.

Nakeds definitely cools you better in hot Houston summers. Downside is they cool you too much in the colder months.

I also like the fact that nakeds in general are cheaper to insure. Perfect example is the Z1000/Ninja 1000 twin. Same goes for RSVR vs. Tuono, and Street Triple vs. Daytona.

I love streetfighters...but I can't stand the upright seating. I like the riding position to be low, and stretched out some.

Ease of maintenance. It's a pain to mess with a bunch of fairings. And why hide that beautiful engine?

The other great thing about street fighters.... you can put whatever bars/clip-ons on it without worry of fairing interference.

The ONLY thing not sexy on that bike is the awkward front fender
