Do a search on this forum. I think Patrick did a write up on STP products or at least have some feedback on them. It wasn't good.

A healthy and properly maintained motor won't require additives.

If it's not allowed to sit for the ethanol to do the damage, nah.

Seafoam is great to revive an old motor or make a smoke show.

The only time I used products like seafoam, was when I knew that my (carbed) bike would not be used for a bit. otherwise, just use quality gas and ride the sucker.

Lucas is good every so often. Seafoam is excellent as a fuel stabilizer. The new gasolines dont do well when stored for long periods of time. STP anything sucks in my opinion.

i think you're in fairly safe shape using a very small amount of the fuel injec. carb cleaner (as this is the only product i buy no matter who the maker is) for this particular purpose.

If im not mistaken, the acutal carb cleaner was created by one of the big four (kawasaki?) after they shipped out a bunch of bikes that fuel had congealed in the carb and their choice was to either take all the bikes back and make them work or? so they came up with the fuel additive, and other maker's hopped aboard.

That being said, i use it sparingly and very infrequently. My bike has 27,000 miles and i think i just barely used about 1/8 of a can of one when the bike reached 25,000 and prob wont be doing it again as i didnt even notice any improvement in the areas i was concnerned about (reason for using it)

just wanted to give you some background info on the product as it does appear to work as intended. or atleast, the one kawasaki? came up with
