I thought we would have more noobs show, but, it seemed the majority of riders wanted to ride with the faster group..

No man left behind on Jimmy's rides. They always wait at every intersection for every man to make it. It's very hard to get lost out on those routes.

Y'all were fine. Had no problems. I was on the black bike behind y'all... but I wasn't 2-up HAHA!

Appreciate you sweeping with me; I think it's a good idea to have two sweepers in the absence of helmet-to-helmet communications: one to stay behind and one to get to the front to inform the ride leader of a potential problem or lost rider.

Yea, I agree. That worked out pretty well.

No worries... these two posting here stuck with us and didn't leave us behind. That's kinda the definition of "noob ride" on MH. They may end up quicker than ultra-noob, or may ride at the speed of smell.... but they always stop at an intersection and wait for the group to gather back up.

Hmmm... must've gotten mixed up. Early in the ride a 2up rider stopped, someone stopped with them, then after we got to the police controlled intersection we all stopped again, a rider or 2 stayed behind.... guess I was mixed up on who ended up left behind us. Either way, thanks.

And yeah, 2 sweepers is a good idea... especially if the sweeper doesn't have the leader's phone #.

I saw four of you head off on 290 at Burton.
Thank you for riding back with us. This was my first actual group ride, not including the rides with just Chevy42083, RJV and sbiker21. I did my best to keep up but I went a little slower in the corners.

The best video of the ride... We need to do more videos like this instead of the same boring riding videos..

What'd be better, is to combine the footage. Get a walk-around like that. Some fast footage from the leaders, and some "arriving at the spot" by the guys at the back. That takes a little more effort though.
I have footage from near the back of all of us lined up and leaving Buccees, some out on the road, but botched the arrival to Orsaks (got a 1sec clip in town, then when I THOUGHT i was turing it off, i turned it on to record me removing my gloves and standing by the bike) I just haven't had time to edit it at all.

BOO!!!!
Better late than never, right?

The sound is horrible, never have gotten good sound out of my GoPro. Need to try tape over mic opening, maybe those feathery/furry mic thingys. This is with the waterproof back door.
The bikes sound great once the video is sped up

Sorry, mostly footage of Jenn... but not all
