go get a do it your self plug from a gas station. We had to do it not to long ago and it worked just fine. Just dont ride it hard! Where in the rear tire is it? Middle, side? But be careful and make sure its plugged before you ride on it.

Just put some air in the tire and ride it home. If it was the front I would be a little more nervous but the rear is not to bad.

I work downtown, but I live on the Northwest close to Motorcycles Unlimited. I have a truck. If you want a new tire I'll take you over to Patrick and he can hook it up for you. Get off at 5pm let me know...

cost 7.99 at shell when we needed it. It has a t handle that sticks the rubber inside then you twist as you pull out and it creates a nice seal, rub the excess on the outside off and put on the little patch fill up and go. I tihnk that was all there was to it. Don quite remember. But worked for like 50 miles at up to 80 mph.

See Ron At Pasadena Kawasaki. He is an old friend and will do you right. Best mechanic I have ever known and now he owns a shop.

the do it yourself is like 8 bucks like therky42 said...you can get them at corner stores and walmart...i had two on my first bike (one in middle and one an inch from edge, both in the within six inches of each other) and rode around with them til i needed a new tire and never had a problem with air leaking or anything like that.

the kit i used looked similar to the pic below and i think it was in a yellow package...
