my 929 tank is the same. i started working on it with a handful of bolts and nuts. it loosened up a lot. one day i will get back to finishing it out.

Here in the Houston area we have a lot of humidity so it's important to keep your tank FULL! With a full tank there is no room for humid air in the tank. duh. When you are done riding your bike, fill your tank!
