Was wondering the same myself. But then again, who doesn't ride around with 3 quarts of oil and a filter. You never know when you'll get the urge to change your oil.

Sounds like ur new to bikes and bought a lemon possibly(or jetcycles is spot on). I was/felt swindled by Clearlake Kawasaki a few years ago. Bought a used bike that on consignment (didnt know) and was an ex-race bike(also didnt know). The thing broke down on me on the 1st ride out!! It was missing essential parts like brake light sw, clutch sw amongst other critical small items i didnt notice. Noob mistake! It spent at least 4 months in the shop total for various reasons. I called Kawasaki corp and complained, made a complaint with BBB and went straight to the shop to complain. I honestly dont remember if i came on MH bashing them though...... forgot the point I was trying to make

I think it was to live and learn. i dont remember now
