I'm sure shops hate this kind of customer.

Here's my bike I tried to fix but have no idea what I'm doing. Oh and I brought my own oil because I am a cheapass. Then of course they post a barely legible complaint on the internet because they're too dumb to realize how a business operates.

Front sprocket and u removed the stator cap (cover)? Im confused? Gasket? Ive paid for front sprocket changes and Ive done my own on various bikes and Ive never had to take off the stator cover.
Also if u in fact took off the stator cover wouldnt oil pour out so u would have to "add" or drain/change the oil....

Sounds like 2 totally seperate jobs....which $240 doesnt sound far off. Also i would of kicked u off the property for working on your own bike on company property because of liability reasons...

Now , now jet Im just trying to get some facts

OP,
Sounds like ur new to bikes and bought a lemon possibly(or jetcycles is spot on). I was/felt swindled by Clearlake Kawasaki a few years ago. Bought a used bike that on consignment (didnt know) and was an ex-race bike(also didnt know). The thing broke down on me on the 1st ride out!! It was missing essential parts like brake light sw, clutch sw amongst other critical small items i didnt notice. Noob mistake! It spent at least 4 months in the shop total for various reasons. I called Kawasaki corp and complained, made a complaint with BBB and went straight to the shop to complain. I honestly dont remember if i came on MH bashing them though...... forgot the point I was trying to make

I think it was to live and learn. i dont remember now
