i always thought a cruiser was a better handling bike due to it's massive size and weight............................

Watching the video again I have come to the conclusion that the Harley rider didn't even know it was a race.

i did not see any handling comparison... I saw a two up cruiser, cruising...
and you blow by him in a no passing zone where you could not see what was coming from around the bend....
when i am riding my harley with my wife on the back and we are on roads like that, I am typically going at or below the speed limit, more enjoying the view, than pushing the ride. If I want to enjoy the view and have a comfortable day riding, i take the harley every time...
now if I want to RIDE, then the cbr comes out, but now days that is mostly at the track...

I was about to agree with everyone else until I looked a little closer at the entire vid and saw how many times he crossed the center line and at one point an oncoming car passed by in a curve and then he started to over correct and kept getting near the outside edge after coming out of the curves. I saw too many riders eat it when I rode Mulholland and out in the Cali canyons. They were doing the same thing.
I have to agree with Ed on this. Its the rider, not the bike. ( my head is hurting now. Fooking Racer X)
