her insurance is most likely gonna total it and i called triumph in katy they told me they didnt have a 675r in stock atm. maybe i didnt call right place idk ill keep looking has anyone here ridden one?

I have not seen the R version of the 675 either. They might be a little tough to get. Just see what your total pay-out from her insurance company will be and then base your financial decision on that. if you like the Daytona get it man. What ever makes you excited about getting back in the sattle; but I do agree with your decision to stop commuting on Houston streets. Too many distracted drivers out there.

Man I commuted from Cypress to Greenway Plaza everyday for a year and each day was an adventure. I fealt like I was running the gauntlet driving down Memorial and Kirby! I found myself more stressed riding trying to avoid retards and riding no longer became fun anymore. I stopped commuting and my passion for riding returned.

yea you are right that bike is not good for short people. Even worse than the r6, i have to get on a triumph daytona like its a motard

Went there today and they do have a 675R in stock. Also a street triple, speed triple and a few others. 675R looks nice.
