the boy inside the man could not resist anymore. Even though i do not have my camera with me, I went out to the warehouse and took the little sum- out of the crate and put it together... that was one dirty pig... everything on that little sucker was covered with some black dust...my hands got filthy and the little white bike has black hand prints all over it...
I did not have any tools with me, so things are just finger tight, but i have to admit the thing looks pretty good...
I have sat a couple of NSR 100's and this thing sits very similar and feels a little more comfortable than i was expecting.. i have not riden it yet, but sitting the suspension feels very similar to my crf100 and that bike rides good, we will just have to wait and see about that part, but for now I am pleased..where i put it together in the warehouse is a little on the dark side, so when i bring in my tools and camera, I will tighten things up, check the oil, clean it up a little and take it out into the sunshine and take a few pics..
I was shocked to see what looks like a compression release lever on it... never thought of a 125 needing a compression release for kick starting.. it was nice on my 441 but a 125 with a compression release was a surprise to me...
it did not come with any paper work, no assembly guide, but that part was simple, all but the front wheel assembly was already together.. just take it out of the crate, put on the front wheel, roll the clip ons out to riding position and done.
oh, and it is GP shift like the salesman said, still not sure about 4 or 5 speed, will look into that more later...
the plastics are fair, you can see and feel the seams in them, but hey it is a CHEAP bike, and i have seen several sets of plastics on the big race bikes that do not look any better, next will be to pull off their decals and decide on leaving it plain or a paint scheme, if i decide to paint it, i will probably let Tony do that, not much of a painter here...
