that is an interesting bike they are showing... it could race F6 and above in TMGP...
wish they gave more specs on it... wonder how much it would cost to get the suspension to handle a full size man... and i bet it is small frame like a klx, most of their other bikes are based on the klx frame in size....looks like 12" tires too...
for lightweight guys it would be just safety wire, add a catch bottle and go...
not sure if it would be competitive or not, but it would be an inexpensive way to play.

PitsterPro has been putting out quality machines for quite a while now. They have fantastic customer support and offer a wide range of repair/replacement/hop up parts. I wouldn't hesitate to hop aboard one and beat the snot out of it!

I contacted these folks last year and talked to them about building me a motard for TMGP and they were very friendly and worked up a price for me... the price was nearly double what they are asking for this bike...the problems began to come up when i questioned some of the components they were using, they simply could not seem to use any parts i requested, the brakes and suspension and wheels were three things we could not come to terms on... they felt the price was going to be too high, but i figured that is a choice I should make...when they could not give me any real info on the parts they were going to use i lost interest...
they did tell me that their bikes were becoming quite competitive in the mini motocross area, but they had no experience in mini gp type racing at that time... again i wish they gave more specifics on the bike in their specifications area.... all they say is 125cc...nothing on the brakes, the suspension, the wheels, the tires....I am just not really wanting to buy it and then have to spend another 3 grand or more on making it ridable for me...if you have a 65lb 10 yr old, this might be the way to go.

They build most of their own components, what did you want them to tell you? What all did you want changed up on the motard that they didn't already offer as a complete package? Parts, reliability, and customer service are not an issue with them from my experience. I have seen no evidence to suggest otherwise, has anyone else?

I had one of the're bikes and it was great. Wish I still had it. It was a pitster x2r pro. Never had any problems with it at all and rode it hard.
If I had the cash I would have this bike. I am sure the suspension is built enough to handle my frame and would probaly only require and oil weight change for you.

I never had to adjust the suspension on my x2r at all and took some pretty good hits on it.

what they told me was that all their parts were from chinese MFG.
They could tell me that they could get 12" wheels, but not what the wheels would be...
I wanted to have them substitue excell or sun wheels and i would pay the difference and they would not do it. They could not tell me what weight range the suspension was set for or how to go about getting it set for my 225 lbs. For me the frame being the same size/type as the KLX110 was not appealing but some other guys would find that to be perfect...I would love to see one of these things run, but am not willing to spend the money and get it shipped here and then not like it...do me a favor and order one, then i will look at yours. This bike would be hard to beat at that price, but remember the price they quoted me was almost twice that and i would not know exactly what i was getting.

Unfortunately, I won't be purchasing a PitsterPro for you to inspect as I no longer have the desire to ride mini motards on a regular basis. I bought, built, and sold my mini (and full size) supermoto long before the majority of this forum knew what supermoto was. If I were in the market for such a bike, I would look long and hard at the PitsterPro before diving into a build as I believe their machines are both cost effective and competitive right out of the box. I would venture a guess and say you'll probably be seeing one or more of these little road race bikes by the end of the 2013 season.

I hope you are right about that, I would also love to see this bike spark a rule change for F7, it is 5cc too large and would have to race in F6 or higher class...I have to admit, i am tempted...
I would also like to see a spec class other than the supersport, might could get a few more folks rolling in TMGP.

i just talked to them on the phone...
the motor is a copy of the yamaha 125, the bike is a 5 speed, kick start...
it does have 12" wheels...
they only have 10 of them and are testing the waters to see if they want to continue with them or if it is going to be a one time shot...
and the price will be about $1600 including shipping to Houston...not the 1999 shown on the website...i am thinking about it... and they are all white....
i may call them back tomorrow with a few more questions, i forgot to ask about the suspension and brakes.
oh and size wise, they say it is about the same size as an nsr.
