Jay Leno CRAZY Motorcycle Crash Footage Surfaces

Hope is not a repost.

Quote:
Video footage of a motorcycle accident that nearly wiped out Jay Leno has surfaced ... one year after the crash -- and now, it could prove the WRONG PERSON was blamed for causing the collision.

Leno and the motorcyclists involved in the collision were taking part in a charity benefit called the "Love Ride" last October when the accident occurred on an L.A. freeway.

You can see in the tape -- recorded via helmet cam -- a bike with two riders speeds up from behind and slams into another motorcycle, causing a massive wreck that nearly takes out Leno ... who was riding just feet away.

The woman who captured the crash on camera -- Christina Silva -- was subsequently blamed for the crash and was banned from participating in this year's "Love Ride" ... but she insists the video shows she did NOTHING wrong.

In fact, Silva tells us the people who pointed the finger at her were the two riders who rear-ended the other biker. It's unclear why they feel Silva is at fault.

Christina tells us she has decided to release the tape to clear her name. It's unclear if the people who run the "Love Ride" have seen the footage.

I thought I was the only one who noticed it. Passing on the right! At 0:22 check the guy on the right splitting lanes between the white bagger and the white truck.

What happened to keeping on one lane in staggering formation?

Where's RacerX when you need it?

The two up couple is probably blaming the video rider because she wasn't paying attention... she was braking so late she had to go between the two riders.... but the two up were obviously paying MUCH LESS attention with the way they came past her.

Domino and slinky effects. Keep your distance. Don't ride side by side (we haven't had that arguement in awhile).

I've been on plenty of group rides... many had people i didn't want to ride near... so i didn't. Just hung at the back, and enjoyed the ride just the same.

The helmet cam rider was not at fault. She braked, stayed in her lane, and did not hit anybody. If you cause an accident because some one in front of you "braked too fast", it is YOUR fault. Plain and simple.

Yrs ago, I was involved in an accident where I was following a pickup truck in my car, some kid cut in front of the pickup truck, causing the truck driver to slam his brakes to a stop. I too slammed on my brakes and stopped behind the truck. Well, the minivan behind me did not stop, rammed into me, and forced my car to hit the pickup. Cop shows up and asked both the truck driver and me one question: how many impact did you feel from behind? ONE, we both said. Minivan driver was given a ticket for failure to maintain safe following distance, found guilty of causing the accident, and his insurance paid claims from both me and the truck driver. Minivan driver tried to blame the kid that cut in front of pickup. No dice.

Keep you distance, folks.

Guess I should mention that is simply their argument... not that I agree with it.

So.....the only reason this made any news was because leno was there....he wasn't "almost" wiped out ....from the looks of the video, if that was leno, he didn't even know anything happened.

smh.
