Thumbs down idiot on B8 today

MH,

Driving my cage home southbound on B8 just north of the Hwy 59 exit towards Sugar Land I heard the roar. Time was 4:15. The traffic was very congested, yup here came an idiot on a sport bike. Mr. fool was doing at least 100 and making very tight, erratic weaves in and out of traffic. Several cars had to brake to avoid a collision. The bike was red, the piece of merde had a helmet but no jacket or boots or gloves. Frankly, this behavior disgusts me and I was suprised not to see the imbecile's mangled body and machine appear under one of the 18 wheelers.

The continued later with a neighbor going berserk about our small poodle taking a spontaneous dump in his yard. As I was bagging the , the guy charged me and was screaming. I went into non-violence mode based on previous experience with this type of behavior. So much for a stress relieving dog walk.

Weird day: lots of drama. Be safe out there please. Think twice about playing Yvon DuHamel on B8, or verbal assault that can quickly ramp into very nasty stuff.

sheesh...

Days like that require a stiff whiskey drink and a lazy boy , that's what I'm doing now. Good for you for not beating the neighbors head in, that can be expensive.

TD,

Thanks, I gave myself a gold star for the right response. I went through a lot of this stuff living in North Africa. I am glad neither poodle felt threatened as the result could have gotten pretty nasty. We are going to figure out who he is and talk to the neighbors. He went way over the top. I wish I had a witness. If he had cocked me, and I thought he was going that way for a while, it would not have been pretty. Next time I carry my cell phone. His actions were very immature, to be kind. He goes into the stupid pile, and I don't often use that label.

Thanks for permission for a scotch. Good idea. Old Pawlentey it is...jet fuel made in far north Scotland.

I don't mind other people's pooch pooping on my lawn. Hey, it's fertilizer!

BW8 south into 59 is nuts. I dread going through that every day. lately, I've gotten into the habit of going straight down Voss, then get on the Hilcroft HOV on-ramp off Westpark. From there, it's smooth sailing to the way to Sugarland.

none, trying to figure what to start on
will be 07+ cbr 600rr(when i got some xp)

ive been seeing more of this sort of behavior lately... i drive an 08 civic si, and in the past 2 weeks ive had like 10 people start trying to instigate a race with me, which is one thing(your lying if you say you never have exceeded the speed limits) but they're doing this when its wet, heavy traffic, cop heavy, etc.. IDK

had 2 ppl do it yesterday to me.. i just shook my head. theyre doing this in super heavy traffic, and there was a car infront of us both by about 15'.. I was just thinking, even if I was ok with risking everyone elses life for a street race, where the would we race to? we going to see who can cause the most damage in an accident Burnout style?
