Got my 3 day pass for the races at the new track in Austin. So stoked just why does April have to be so far away

better get your hotel booked too, i checked and booked yesterday and the rooms are becoming limited... even down in Bastrop, that's where I wanted to stay but no deal, they're all gone already.

there aren't too many options on "good" hotels any more, Bastrop does have quite a few B&B places but they are all over the $200 region.

I feel like a rocket scientist. I booked a hotel the week before the tickets were released. Managed 125 per night at La Quinta by the airport. Finally, a win!

EDIT: Back to being a dumbass. Looks like the GA tickets are sold out??? I was holding out for the VIP packages to be released for raceday, but now I'm nervous as they don't have any information on them even after a phone call........

No, confirmation that I am a dumbass. Plenty of GA tickets left, the ticket button automatically takes you to reserved....

I'm seeing plenty of rooms available on expedia. Just booked mine. I have no idea where the track is, so I just took a stab at a cheap one.
