I'd love to, but I've Halloween-related kiddo stuff all weekend.

James- You should do the TSCEC Red River enduro on 11/11! One of the best around.

Understood for sure. The drive home after any race stinks. The drives there are the best.

Is this an enduro or a mx race?It sounds like a mx race with the engine size classes.

It's a harescramble. They are usually 5-6 mile courses that you run several times. MX riders usually fare really well in harescrambles. They often have lots of higher speed, less technical sections that can be ridden fast by guys with MX experience.

Enduros are usually tighter and more technical and favor the riders with lots of trail riding experience.

TORCS races are normally pretty loose in terms of the woods sections, very few tight spots, the courses are pretty fast with some nice technical stuff, up hill off camber single track hill climbs which are fun and the easy/hard sections are usually intimidating to those who don't "push the envelope".

Sand??? Ummm to say the least, we had about 99.99999999% sand course this weekend. I will post my full race report tomorrow when i'm not so fkn tired after two days of practice, and race laps in nothing but sand, I am having to get the bikes and gear prepped for take off on Tuesday, headed to TN for the GNCC at Loretta Lynns this weekend...

I should have slapped on a paddle tire. that was rough. I'm watching my go pro video right now and I'm on lap 2 and I have counted 8 dumps of the bike so far with a lap left to watch. Super friendly people and a good time but a little too much sand for me. My whole body is sore.

I am beat up, inside and outside, so sore, I even have the imprint of my steering damper in my belly/ribs from one of yesterdays get off, but I wouldn't go back in time to change a thing at all.
