Moto GP viewing party

at Driv Motoring.

March 11th, will be the first Moto GP race for the year. If enough people are interested in having a viewing party at Driv Motoring i'm pretty sure its a go.

I need to make sure we have some people that want to do this, the upstairs viewing room is awesome, plenty of seating, the screen is HUGE nice sound system, we can bring our own food and drink with us to have us a nice cheap get together. Please chime in with input and then i'll take it to management of D-M. I'm sure that Jarret can fill us all in on a little info that I may have left out.

There is also a smoking area upstairs so that you dont have to go outside of the building.

Is that the room that the employees were playing x-box in and would not let us enter????? They were prolly in there when I crashed and there was only 1 guy on the floor who didnt even see me for 2 laps so I got out of my kart to push it back.

No help from employees.

They do need to work on having attentive 'corner workers' and just one guy won't make it on this big track either. I wasn't stuck as long as you were when I hit the wall but it did take them a while before looking up and noticing it.

About the MotoGP viewing party, I think that is the big room on the upstairs floor in the back. They also have a bunch of TVs in the front that they could probably flip on to show Speedvision.

This is serious stuff for some of us. It's kinda like a Redneck watching Naaascaar racing.

The date will be 3-11-07, not sure what the time is yet. I would like to get an idea of how many people would show up to watch and then we can talk with the management team at D-M.

Can you find out if they allow people under 21?

I wanna go - but i'm too shy and afraid to go there only to find out i can't get in there..

I once took a date to Dave n Bustooz and totally made a fool of myself when they stopped me at the entrance and said i can't get in coz im under 21, good thing was the date was over 21 so i could get in..

still made me feel like ..tard

I will be sure to bring that up when i talk with them about seriously doing this at there establishment.
