The machines we drive/ride will do more than we give them credit for.
Absolutely correct. Just spot on.

If you take courses in emergency driving, they try to push you to learn the vehicle's thresholds. You'd be amazed at what some of the crappiest cars can do.

Dumbass...
after watching the fast GIF that's exactly what it looks like.

turn turn turn, scape, OH FAWK, PANIC BRAKE, UPRIGHT, CORVETTE, HOSPITAL, INTERWEB.

I've actually had something similar to this happen, came around a corner, and noticed there was these huge double reflectors dividing the lanes, fixated on them, ran wide, stood the bike up a little to take the bumps, then turned back in. thankfully there were no cars on the road.

Too many sins in this series of pictures. What sticks out the most to me is:

1- Off the gas going through a turn.
2- Did not have the brakes covered (no brake light until after he stood the bike up and crossed the yellow.
3- Is this bike Shaft Drive? If so, crank that throttle and you have about 10 more degrees of lean angle instantly availible. Doesn't matter if you are dragging hard parts, crank the gas on he would have made the corner.
4- He looked to the left and waved in a tight right turn??? Really??? Was there any clue that cars frequent this road before the photographer????

Ok, I am done, flame on...

All 954 riders kick .

Not sure I would even do that. Probably just a generic nod (depending on my approach speed).
