Talking MD Anderson Children's Cancer Hospital Toy Drive @ Houston Coffee & Cars Dec. 1st!

Houston Performance Driving & Performance Driving Network is stepping up to the plate this holiday season and will be collecting toys for the kids @ MD Anderson Children's Cancer Hospital. We formally ask everyone* and anyone* that reads this forum to please get involved in this toy drive. These kids are fighting everyday to stay strong and focused while receiving their treatments. Some of these kids are not from Houston and have very little to no family here while at the hospital. These families have stretched their finances to the limits in getting their children the best medical care possible. More than anything these parents want to give them the best Christmas possible. Houston Performance Driving & Performance Driving Network is asking the Import/Domestic forums and clubs to join together for a wonderful cause.

"The only way for evil to prevail is for good people to do nothing"

likewise....been wanting to get out there, but something always comes up....I'm in for gift (is there any sort of $$$ amount preferred?) and some early morning coffee. CaligoneTx needs to chime in, get a meet spot set up and let us roll in with Santa leading the way.

Count me in for a toy and tell me how to get it to you prior to 12-1-12 if necessary. I've been a patient at MDA for 1/2 of my life, seeing those children never gets any easier.

If they dont have a spot to drop them off early i could pick them up from yall and put them in the wifes car and take them up there the day of the event. I just got my bike back and i dont mind taking short rides at night to pick up back pack sized toys.
