Last time I went got a tag for my bike, the EZTag store told me that for some make and models, they offer another style of EZtag for motorcycles that you can bolt to the license plate. They even showed it to me. I declined and got the standard one instead. I prefer to carry it with me.

I broke a rib riding in the dirt with I fell on my box ex tag.

It was in my front left brest pocket.

Bet they don't refund you for the cost of the wrong one. They did the same to me, I had to go to the ex tag store to fix it.

Thing is, you don't really need to carry the tag around for regular ex tag use. The gate, you can ride around or they just open it for you. Everything is crosschecked to your plate anyway form the photos they take.

I don't carry my ex tag on the moto, but still paid over 700 last year for the tolls.

Can I use the new sticker tag on my motorcycle? No. Because many motorcycles do not have windshields and because the stickers can not withstand elements like wind and rain, motorcycles must continue to use the special hard case tag.

Nope, but if you get caught riding the stripe, they can bust your . A few years ago a MH member posted that he got popped by a Metro cop or constable that called HPD because he wanted the rider arrested for riding the stripe. (Apparently only HPD could throw the guy in jail) The HPD cop talked the other cop down and the rider was only ticketed. They'll bust your for stealing which is what you're doing if you're on the stripe.

Riding next to the stripe on the Hardy will give you a toll free ride and keep you out of jail

If you get caught riding the white line, you are dragged away by your hair to Gitmo. True story.

Mine is a TxTag also and has never worked, maybe the battery was dead since I first got it. If there is someone at the booth I just pull up to the gate and pipe it a couple times and they open it, if they don't I turn my head and yell "I HAVE A TXTAG" and they open it. I'm on it every day so I don't feel like sending it to Austin and waiting for a replacement, the EZ tag store will not deal with TxTag and they want you to convert to EZ, screw them.

EZ Tags work outside of Houston as well

Where is EZ TAG accepted as a payment option? EZ TAG works on most Texas toll roads with electronic tolling lanes!
