I take it you haven't been to Flemming, Morton's, Striphouse, or Taste of Texas.

Not in my opinion.

Taste of Texas is good but I thought Vic's was better. And Smith and Wollensky's was even as good as ToT for me. I haven't been to the others you named. How does Ruth Chris stack up to those? I do need to try Mortons.

The real question is what your budget is and how much do you want to impress this girl?

Baba Yegas is really nice as well and has romantic seating by the pond.

Keep in mind that alot of those places, like Vic and Anthony's, that are already expensive will be having even more expensive fixed menu dinners for Valentine's Day.

I'm the GM at Trevisio Restaurant in the Medical Center and our dining room is very romantic with great floor to ceiling windows that offer a sweet panoramic night-time view of the Med Center. (We watch Life Flight bring 'em in regularly)

We are offering a nice three course dinner for $50 per person.

Call me direct to make reservations if interested
