Talking We got a new supercharged toy!

But it doesn't have wheels. We got our taxes sorted out and decided to get a toy. The wife and I have been wanting one of these for awhile and found a good deal on one. It is a 2006 SeaDoo Sportster SCIC with 30hrs in pristine condition. It is 15'4", weighs 1400 lbs and has a supercharged/intercooled 215hp engine. We took it to Clear Lake Saturday and Lake Conroe on Sunday. This little sucker hauls some . It is does surprisingly well even in rough water. We spent a fair amount of time airborne and jumping wakes with it.

I can't wait for it to warm up a little!

Here are a couple of pics. Sassy Chassis was wearing her motorcycle jacket since it was so cold. lol

nice. i see you or your significant other has a thing for yellow.

too bad saltwater kills them engines.....or else i'd tell you to jump the wakes that the ferry puts out. you'd be suprised how airborne you can get.

This has a closed loop cooling system like a car (since 2003). It has antifreeze and the salt-water doesn't bother it since it is never circulated through the engine. We ran it on Clear Lake which is salt-water. You just flush the exhaust cooling system when you are done. We will probably spend quite a bit of time running it down there.

nice boat, i was looking at that model last winter. only problem i have with a single engine is getting stuck out on the lake, i prefer twin engine jetboats. most people on the lake are very friendly, sorta like motorcycle riders, everybody looks out for one another. i've been towed a few times and i've towed a few people who've been stuck. hope u have fun with it, spring is right around the corner.

we need to have a mh party on the lake. i'll bring the jetskis and tube

actually clearlake is brackish(sp?) water, its not too bad. eventhough its closed loop, salt will still eat away other components.

I'm in for the meet. This thing will pull a skier or a tube with ease. Let's go!

No racing for slips. It sounds like I would get a beatdown. lol We have had boats in our families since we were kids but this is the first one I have owned. It is nice to be able to just go when you want to go and do what you want to do. Some days it is nice to just pull into a cove and go fishing. She is the one with the thing for yellow. We moved her car out of the garage and just have the bikes and the boat in there now. I gotta do something with my motorcycle trailer now.

We really wanted a 3 car garage when we were shopping for a house but there wasn't anything available on the market when we bought it. I kinda regret it now.

Nice boat!

A friend of mine had the older model and we had lots of fun! Quick and reliable.

In fact that is the only boat I haven't broke down in.

I have bad luck with boats:eh:

Thos are so fun, my buddy has an '03 Challenger 1800, he's in the jet ski and boat business so he's had several........

Those Sea Doo boats are like a giant jet ski....they turn on a dime and man let me tell you get going about 30 and do easy left (or right) and then cut the wheel the opposite way hard and punch the throttle and it'll spin just like a jet ski......man. Fun stuff.

my Chaparral i/o is fun to tow tubbers and skiiers and wakeboarders but a sea doo boat is really fun to just drive around and get crazy in.

Boating when its 70 or below is rough...out on the water with nothing to block the wind and all it gets cold. We bought our boat in '02 at the January boat show, we were on the water in our snow ski stuff just so we could say "we took it out"
