3090 is not a great noob road, rode it 2 weeks ago, was in good shape.

Time before there was a rider in the middle of the road covered with a sheet.

No doubt most injuries are less severe and deaths almost nonexistent on the track, but it's far from perfect. There are plenty of crashes on the track and often they're someone else's fault.
+1 this^ ask me how I know.

trackdays and miles 7/1000
track day crashes 1
cost of med bills 42k before ins. discount.
injuries- mild concusion, bruised ribs, reinjured left wrist, various bruises all over. really not a dam thing that should have cost that much money.

total street miles 100k+
total street crashes 3
cost if med bills 2k+-
injuries- one seperated shoulder

another reason for staying off the track is that my employers insurance carrier doesn't frown as much when paying out for an accident on the street verses paying for one
at the track.

True... the first 3 times I tried to go to Yankees I didn't make it because of others' wrecks. 2 on 3090... 1 on another road... if he didn't make THAT turn, he wasn't gonna make it down 3090 anyways.

There will always be those who are pro street vs pro track guys it vomes down to

Ride safe wear gear and dont push it past your limits. Also be aware of your surroundings an keep your eyes up through the turn.

Reguardless or street or track or race no one wants to see anyone else get injured or hurt we are 1 big family

337 has spoken, now we will all go to the track, thank you sir
Thank you very much.

And remember kids, if you crash at the track or get taken out by baopee, it hurts a lot less than on the street

I will get another $25k bike and take it to the track so homboy with his $2k R6 10 tone color can take me out and fix it with a "sorry"

Rode the forest yesterday and 3090 is out of commission, they are repaving it and there were signs of no center stripe and machinery at the 244/3090 intersection. brand new first coat of topping and lots of tar.

We stopped 5 ft into it and as we lifted our boots it all came up probably due to the heat, the tar was almost liquid

So yea just came up 3090. Both lanes are being chip sealed. It's ridable in the morning, but i wouldn't be on it after noon. There's not very much traction at all, way too greasy. So keep it at the speed limit and easy on the brakes and you'll be alright.

I only got just a little tar on my fairing, but its not 95 out yet!!
