Insurance Warning !!

off so I'm writing this.

I have an 06 gixxer that I first had insured with Geico.. After reading some of the posts on there that Peter from State Farm saved them some money I decided to give him a buzz and see what he could do for me.

Needless to say he saved me a lot of cash or so I thought.

Today started out like any other day.. Woke up, work, go home check the mail... But today I had a present in the mail.. A check from State Farm... WHY you ask??? Maybe because I have been a good boy and Santa forgot to give me that for xmas. No instead it was because my ****ING POLICY WAS TERMINATED.

So naturally I call State Farm and ask them why. They call me back about 15 minutes later and asked if a Kristina lives at the same address as me. I said yes thats my Wife. They said well she has two accidents and she lives at that address thats why they canceled it. She wasnt on the policy at all. We have our other two vehicles with USAA insurance that shouldnt have a ****ing thing to do with State Farm if she isnt on the policy.

I'm flaming freaking mad because they sent me a check in the mail telling me that my policy was terminated. So guess what that means... If I was out yesterday riding and I got in an accident I wouldnt of been covered because they ****ing failed to tell me they canceled it.

GFG.....

Not even so much as a freaking phone call from State Farm or Peter.. of a way to treat customers..

Try Dairyland Insurance. I saved over $600 a year with them compared to Geico and Progressive. Be sure to tell them you are a AMA or similar group, like I am with BRAG. Alarm also helps, mine has a LoJac installed...

its the same as when you start a policy and say you didnt have a ticket and then they look up your history and change your rate, the insurance agents usually do not determine coverage, the ins. company lets the agents start and policy then anytime they find other stuff they might not under write it. its gay.

Thats just it.. We didnt lie about anything. He even told my wife on the phone .. "wow 2 accidents in 6 months thats ruff".. So there was no hiding anything.. He knew about my wifes accidents but she wasnt going on the policy..

The lady at on the phone did say Pete knew about this and was looking into under writing or something.. Which is great that he is trying to do something but how about a phone call or email saying hey your not insured right now stay off the bike.

Policies are policies.. If they dont want to insure me fine.. But atleast let the person know they arent insured any more ffs.. I mean if I would of got in an accident I would of had to pay medical bills and my bike out of my own pocket when I thought I had full coverage the whole time. Thats what im angry about.

Its just how insurance policys work when there are probabilitys of a "high risk" person. My parents friend used our adress for her insurance policy and they canceled it cause I lived in the same household and stated I was a "high risk". (Although I use a totally different insurance provider then she does, and I have a perfectly clean record with nothing at all on it. They stated it was due to my age) But the best thing to do is call and get it sorted out.
