Smile bucket list road...NM 84

MH,

I am back from a week in north central NM and my home town of Durango, CO. This time I drove from the Chimayo-Espanola, NM area north on highway 84. This road snakes through high desert, mountains, river sides, amazing geologic out crops and has huge diversity and low traffic. There are few straight or flat sections. At the Colorado end one is at the base of the Wolf Creek Pass vicinity, near alpine environments. On my cage trip the aspen and cottonwood trees were prime yellow, and against the so blue it hurts your eyes skies, just magnificent. So, here is another bucket list road to ride on a bike. A few long distance machines were seen and some sport bikes from likely the Albuquerque area.

Well I have not been on the Guzzi once in the last three weeks due to travel, having the first maintenance, and now arriving home with a nasty cold virus. Hopefully this week the skies will clear, so will my sinus drip and cough, and I can go out in lovely Houston (straightest and most congested roads in TX) and have some fun.

But, I dream of riding Highway 84.

What is your bucket list road, and why?

cheers and stay safe all
