squidbillies. never seen so many fat girls 2up and riding their own 1+ liter bikes. . no offense to chubs, but its just kind of funny bc the busa and the 14s just even LOOK like fat people bikes.

the point to this....

these sat around drinking frappychinas until 10:30 and then made the biggest ruck/din/hoopla about pulling out. they all met at the shell like 200 feet away and got fueled up for the big "ride". well after about 100 or so had amassed the guys on choppers pulled out and started interfering with traffic and acted like stewards ushering a crowd into the intersection practically...

light goes green and everyone seems to rev to 12k and take off and proceed to head around 610 "inner" at about 70mph.... nothing wrong with this, just makes us look like just as bad as the squid without gear slamming through traffic. it was all show and no go. i'm not here saying everyone has to go blasting around 610.... i dont really like it. if i'm going to play its way south of town or on the beltway. but all this production for a paced lap where massive packs of bikes envelop and very slowly pass traffic on 610???

its dangerous in its own way. i'd rather see 10 experienced riders doing double the posted than multiple packs of 20-40 bikes bullying traffic at an incredibly slow pace. there was nothing consistent or fluid to it. consistency and fluidity are the most enjoyable parts of riding.

sorry im sure yall have all witnessed this but I was thoroughly let down...

they are all as cool as their chrome wheels and 3 foot long rear arms....
Wait till around 11 o'clock and their is a pack of less the 10 riders..

No body does a big lap by the way.. If you wait for the right crowd. The few fast riders do come out around after 11

From your comments, it looks like you were expecting a faster pace ride and got disappointed at their slow pace..... Have you considered a Sunday ride? Our SMR is posted in the meets and events section, there is not a single stretched bike or chopper in the group, and we do have a faster paced group if that is what you are looking for, or if you choose to just cruise you can stay with the second group....... we usually have a volunteer sweeper (me ) from point A to point B so nobody gets left behind!
He most definitely went on the wrong ride!

I think I enjoy this forum more than any I've ever been in.

Yeah maybe I hated early but I think having and riding a motorcycle just for other people to see you is ruhtarded. I barely feel safe on the road riding aggressive defensive and heads up as a motha! I just think its silly to put your neck out there just for a tiny weenie competition

That's because they're only "fast" in a straight line and can't negotiate curves for .

As i said before your on the wrong "route". I understand their has been a sterotype that has grown with the pp1. Yet dont be too quick to judge. I personally know few of these fast riders do ride SMR's and do track days and are fast. Not big fans of motohouston tho
