there are a few/several guys who go down there and do know how to ride... some i believe are cmra racers. That doesnt speak for the majority obviously.

I like your view on the whole starbucks thing and got a good laugh out of someone calling it like they see it .

Yeah they bolt up, but they will!
Oh and mattracks. Ill dig a picture up from somewhere.
Sounds like they accepted you with no questions asked, and probably not posting about you today. I'm sure you also have a good reason for what you did to that UTV, not that it matters to me. I'm sure if most of them saw what happened on the back roads on the weekends they'd think we are lunatics. Let me correct that, they would probably think I'm crazy, because I can only speak for what I do. Enjoy your stay!

There are some dumbasses there. I'll give you that. For the most part, they are good people. I dont agree with their tastes, but it's not my bike. I dont ride loops with them, but it if they want to. I used to show up every week (3 miles from where I used to live), to kick back and BS with some other riders. Some of them are FAST! A lot of them are posers. Oh well. To each his own.

Pretty much what lonerider said.... SOMEWHERE, there's guys who think this is retarded.

The chromes equal the bling on the liter+ bikes (pure show, hurts performance)
the mattracks = stretched swing arms (Technically a "good thing", but overkill and unneeded... especially in most situations it's used.)

Not ripping on either... just saying everyone has a preference.

I typically do not do rides with large number of bikes anywhere, loop or otherwise...
I enjoy lots of types of bikes and there are bikes out there that look cool that i would not want to ride..some things some folks do to their bikes make no sense to me, but then I do not ride their "ride".
The reason i have several different bikes, cruisers, sport bike, motard, dirt bikes, is that i like different types of rides and different activities.. I am sure that some of the things i do other folks think is wierd... if you like it, do it, if not, don't. The only time i get bitchy about how others ride is when they put folks in danger...

No. 8" lift. It may have a slight 1-2" back rake to it but no intended stretching. Not two feet of chrome...

Not starting an argument here but there is no comparison to mattracks and chromed out 3ft swing arms lol! This is a lease vehicle. We deer and duck hunt. Not parking this toy at the Starbucks lol!!!

Sorry for stirring the pot all... I know I'm a newcomer but I don't care. I'm not hating on anyone's style too bad I don't think??? And yeah you're right there's definitely people out there who scoff at mine. RIDE ON BRUDDAS!

Like i said, no ripping... just different opinions.

Some say extended swing arms are overkill on the street
Some say mattracks are overkill for duck hunting.

Some show their modded ride at Starbucks...
some slip theirs into an unrelated thread

i'd rather see 10 experienced riders doing double the posted than multiple packs of 20-40 bikes bullying traffic at an incredibly slow pace. there was nothing consistent or fluid to it. consistency and fluidity are the most enjoyable parts of riding.
What did you expect? it looks like you went on a ride with a bunch of stretched bikes and choppers you know those bikes cant turn.... and more likely the riders dont like to lean their bikes either....

From your comments, it looks like you were expecting a faster pace ride and got disappointed at their slow pace..... Have you considered a Sunday ride? Our SMR is posted in the meets and events section, there is not a single stretched bike or chopper in the group, and we do have a faster paced group if that is what you are looking for, or if you choose to just cruise you can stay with the second group....... we usually have a volunteer sweeper (me ) from point A to point B so nobody gets left behind!

I remember my first visit to the Starbucks meet. Constant rev limiter checks, guys with stereos on their sportbikes, LED's everywhere. It was like watching a bunch of children play with their toys.

Not my scene, that's for sure.
