I'm partial to my own SV650 Favorite Naked bike

Other than that I'd probably have to go with a Honda CB1000... at least until BMW releases the naked S1000RR they are supposed to be doing.

I like the older Speed Triple. I may be a bit biased though.

Nice color on the 650N. Is that OEM paint code? I'll eventually repaint my pearl blue SV1000S, probably some shade of candy red.

That's the OEM red. I was going to repaint it white but the red has really grown on me which is good since I can't afford paint for it right now.

Paint it white? Hmm... not sure how's that's gonna look. White only looks good on a bike when there is a lot of painted area. Otherwise, it just looks like unfinished primer from a distance, even if it is a nice pearl white up close.

What year gixxer forks are those?

BTW, nice garage you got there. Wish mine looks that clean. You do CAD drawings at home with that plotter?

Well the original idea was white with an off center black strip, sort of a ducati scheme. I don't think I'll ever do it though, I just like the red too much.

The gixxer forks are from an '06 600. Not the ideal year honestly, they have the off center ignition location which means my bars lock straight ahead. Big improvement in suspension feel though, even with one fork needing fresh seals. Now I just need to get a fresh shock for the back end and get that POS stocker off of there.

Thanks for the compliment on the garage. It is my fiancee's office where she does screen printing and vinyl work so she keeps it pretty clean. It also ends up our bike work shop since it is insulated and air conditioned so it works out pretty well. You want to see a typical garage I'll take a picture of "the cave" which is the storage garage I converted from a carport.

For heavyweight naked streetfighter champion of the world, it's hard to beat the Suzuki B-King. This one is at Wild West Honda. Love the burnt orange accent color.

Agreed, once you remove those gawdawful OEM cans, the B-King turns into a great looking machine.

Saw this when I was creeping around on their web-site yesterday. The B-King is a cool looking bike; but I have seen several side-by-side comparisions to the V-Max! I can't understand why; becuase the V-Max is in a class all it's own! There was an 08 for sale a few months back on here; but not sure if the guy sold it.

I don't understand the comparison with V-Max either, other than they both accelerate blindingly fast. VMax is a 700 lbs power cruiser, with a montrocity of an engine, all 1700cc of it. The B-King might be a bit portly, but to me, it is closer to the Diavel than the VMax.

Yes, I thought I've seen this same one at WWH a few months back. I was talking to the sales managers and wondering if the paint schem is OEM. It's not.

We only got them in 08, black or silver/gray combo. Getting rid of the stock pipes would've been my first move if the previous owner didn't already.
