i assume your engine is black, but what about plasti-dipping the stator cover and lower "crank case" area of the engine block my bike needs a black engine.

is it safe to use on engines?

This stuff is sweet. I found it at HD and for 6 bucks with tax for a can I just got it to test it out and see what it was all about. I used 2 cans and did front and rear chrome bumper on my truck. Looks awesome, I hate chrome. I sprayed the whole thing, over the fog lights and everything. No taping hardly. Then just peeled off the paint/rubber off the lights. Came out good. And if it didn't I would just take it off.

Took some pics out in the light with all the fairings on. Looks great but I honestly dunno if it will last with the rubbing of my leathers on my tank fairing. We shall see soon...

Took 4 cans of black....which I was able to do 3 coats on each part.
Stomp grips might help maybe. From what I noticed is that if u put it on in lighy coats like normal paint it does scuff. But once u do ur 1st coat. You put iy on thick and it makes it stronger it seems. I saw a youtube video where some guy was powerwashing his stuff. Lol

Looks good. I did the badges on my new truck last week. All but one badge looks like it came from the factory that way. One of them has a tiny air bubble that I need to redo. You can actually repair tears and blemishes without redoing the whole thing if you use solvent.
