FUEL PUMP NOT CYCLING

i have a 03 busa and it has been giving em problems starting and when i went to start it yesterday i had to jump it off and it still would not start. I noticed after trying to start it the whinning noise your here when you flip the power stich was not coming on anymore. i was told that jumping a bike off from a car is bad as the car battery pushes to many amps to the bike and you can possibly fry the relay or the pump itself. Has anyone else heard of this and does anyone knwo exactly where the relay is located so i can check it and see if it is burnt our ir if it is the pump??

cliff notes: need t knwo where the fuel pump relay is located on an 03 busa

thanks in advnace for any help

Fuel pump fuse is in the LH inner fairing just to the left of the tach.

Also check the engine kill switch, side stand switch and tip over switch. All of those will keep the pump from priming.

If all of that tests good, then run some jumper wires from the battery pos/neg directly to the fuel pump leads and see if the pump runs, if not, the pump is bad.

Try that stuff and report back. We'll go from there.

Oh and never jump start from a car or battery charger, you will fry the ECU with a quickness... You can also fry the fuel pump priming circuit in the ECU and the pump will never prime.

The bank angle sensor brackets break frequently.
It's directly below the back of the tank.
Look between the swingarm and subframe and see if it's hanging down.

I can get one for you.
That said unless it's damaged you can clean yours and reuse it.
