yeah, if you plan on doing things yourself, definately look out for the thread when we get a date set. i'll direct you on where to find a cheap/reliable spray gun if you're still interested in painting after the clinic.

awesome! I'm interested in experimenting with small stuff (headlight bezels, jeep parts) so that'll be good. I need my wheels on my jeep powercoated black, can you do that? (of course now we are talkin money :icon_bigg )

For all the do it yourselfer and don't know how, Don't Do It. Let the pro handle it and you will more satisfactory than doing it yourself and be unhappy. Then, you will have to pay more to get it done right.

that is also true. If you are easily satisfied, doing it yourself is no problem. But I know a majority of us like things to be perfected, and it takes years and years of experience to perfect paint jobs and body work.

Spraypaint is a B***H to sand off. sticks to the sand paper. :BangHead: :BangHead:

Good gun, dry air and alot of patience. I actually always enjoyed the painting part. It is body work that can be a pain in the ! When I prepped the shaved door handles on my old truck I finished the driver side in 30 minutes but the passenger side took a freak'n week because somebody had booty bumped it closed. Grrr!

yeah, the spraying part can be a walk in the park....

but prep work is where it really matters, and like you said, it can be a HUGE pain in the sometimes.
