Weather change = clothing/gear change

Need some input from our veteran riders. This will be my 3rd winter to ride and I can't remember what temperatures to adjust clothing and gear to. Were going on a long ride Sunday, 8-10 hrs. The high is supposed to be 70. Most of the time I adjust gradually and if I get caught out without enough clothing its not a long ride so I can adds more next time and just deal with it then. This time is a long ride and i don't want to suffer. plan on putting the liner back in my leather jacket and wearing long sleeves. Should some thermals be needed also? What are y'all advice and suggestions?

Get a face mask that covers your neck and can be tucked into your jacket. Long thick socks on top of regular socks to keep ankles warm. Only two things I would wear extra for this weather. For true winter weather is another story.
