U clear HBC100

Just took a ride to test my new helmet Bluetooth ...music sounds great! To answer call just say hello or pickup love it. Decided to go with the 100 vs 200 because I couldn't justify 150 bucks (bought 2 ...one for the wife) just to have the ability to talk with more ppl and greater distances, as I don't ride group often. The caller couldn't hear bike or wind.... just me.

the only complaint I have thus far is you can't tell who is calling...now I need to find some way to mount phone to monitor caller id...

If you have the right phone, i know instead of the ringtone some phones will just ring once and call out the number/name if you have it saved under you're contacts.

Bro...not on here to argue...I too agree bikes are dangerous. I have been riding longer than my profile states, but I have known more experienced riders to go down for less. My purpose of post was just to give my rating on the product. I didn't care so much about what you said it was how you said it.

Some of us can talk and ride a motorcycle at the same time.

I got the Uclear 200 today, will let you know how it works. I am using a 3/4 helmet, so the boomless functionality should be nice. What helmet are you using?

I paid 150/ea for the 100...the 200 is like $250 for 1 or package of 2 for $450. The biggest difference that I noticed is with the 200 you can communicate with more ppl at greater distances (700m vs 10m). If you ride with same groups often, I recommend the 200.

So can you hear the caller if you are traveling at 40,50,60,70,80mph?

I have an Oneal Tirade and a Bily Bluetooth, and I can't hear the callers over 30mph.

I was able to hear music at about 80-90 on freeway and I was traveling like 70 when I spoke to my wife. I could hear her clearly and vice versa. Speakers are pretty good. They adjust to ambient noise when traveling at high speeds. They where tested up to 147 but I don't plan on talking at those speeds lol.

Update again with how well it works person to person.
2nd thought... is wifey on the same bike, or on her own?

I was wondering if they work for distance of 3 or so car lengths. You know... when you aren't quite sure where you're going, or need to pull over, or something of that nature... hand signals, gesturing, and watching mime games is dangerous.

And yes... I know how far 10meters is... kinda curious about the real world working. THey may garauntee 10meters, but work up to 30. Or the 10 may be the limit.
