02 Suzuki Boulevard

I have a co worker who has a 2002 Suzuki Boulevard 1800 cc.

My co workers brother gave it to him after his ex wife keyed the gas tank and front fender. It has been sitting under a tarp behind his house for a few months now. He doesnt know much about motorcycles and wants it gone, after looking at piutures online I think it is a M109R.

He is supposed to go buy a battery, and I think after some fresh fluids it will be fine.

He is asking $2k for it. I am debating on scooping it up but was wondering if anyone would have any concerns that I should know before maybe purchasing t his bike.

Thanks.

Do it. That's twice as much bike as my Boulevard M50 for half of what I paid for it. Plus it'd be nice to see more cruisers at the meets.

That's a good deal for a nice bike. I have the Suzuki Volusia, but been eyeing th 109s for quite some time. Love the way they handle, engine is awesome, and for that price that's a steal...if I hadn't have been laid off I would buy it! Good luck!

I don't think the M109R was made in 2002.
There were only a 1500/800 Intruder and the 800 Marauder (which later became the M50 in 2005)

The M109R was first introduced in 2006. I could be wrong but that would be a good deal if it was.
