2004 gsxr 750 stalling wont stay on

Here is the story, I bought a 04 gsxr 750 two days ago from a dude who I am pretty sure screwed me over. Drove the bike home worked perfectly fine. Woke up the next morning ran a few errands and stopped at the atm, turned it off for 30 seconds, tried to start it and the battery was dead. Got a jump, rode it back home. 1 hour later drove it to autozone, they checked the battery and said it was good. Drove it 30 miles to work ran perfectly fine. Went on my lunch break 4 hours later and after about 10 minutes on it it started to idle low and then die. Started back up, came to a light, idled low and died. I was able to start it back up again drove it 2 minutes down the road and it just flat out stalled at about 30 mph. Parked it, tried starting it and it would stay on for a few seconds and I tried to give it some throttle but it would choke out and die. Tried to start it one last time but battery died. Towed it payed 250$ off like .

Jumped it this morning but it wont stay running. Stays on for maybe 2 seconds and dies. It has an F1 code that was on, dude said it was because the exhuast was installed, it has a power commander not sure what brand.

any suggestions? I will be checking plugs, putting some fresh gas, not really sure where to start.

awesome thanks, Im wondering if its a stator/RR problem due to the original problem of it not turning back on after i shut it off at the atm. Maybe bike is not getting enough power from fuel/pump or PC and stalling out?

I will put it in dealer mode and check the code tonight. Thanks jetcycles

Have you tried bypassing the PC to see if that is the problem as stated by the seller?

Yup. Sounds like a bad rectifier.

It sounds like a charging system issue.

Patrick, I called you guys earlier today and if I am unable to figure this out by tonight, I will be dropping it off tomorrow. After paying 4500$ for the bike, the 250$+ towing fee and having to tow it again to the shop for 80$, I am running a little low on funds. Thanks for the help!

triple check ALL the ground wires! make sure they are clean and tight. same problem on my vfr due to the main ground on the bottom of the frame being loose.
