I've driven to Tyler once and it was almost a 4 hour drive. It is almost better to take I-45 and then cut through. I never been through Lufkin.

My mom lives 220 miles away up the other direction (up Hwy6) and it takes me roughly 3 1/2 hours when hauling and one quick stop.

So, I'd estimate 4 hours for Oak Hill just to be safe but shouldn't be more.

4 hours with my trailer...
3 1/2 w/o the trailer.
From the west side take I45 to Buffalo & make a right. It goes straight to Henderson.

From the East side go up 59.
