This bike has been known about for a long time now. Advrider has a several threads about the water head. The REAL question is wether or not BMW has addressed final dive issues that have plagued the gs line for several years

I can read. However the title is wrong. It should have said "now with water cooling". Oil is a liquid, water is a liquid. The older GS had a oil circuit that bled heat from the heads and cylinders through a radiator. The new circuit is just a water/coolant mix instead of oil. Saying "now with liquid cooling" implies a misunderstanding of how this was cooled before.

Meh, I'm an engineer. I get paid to nitpick. It just spills over into other areas of my life (yeah my wife just loves that aspect of me too).

I seriously doubt water-cooling added 80lbs, especially compared to the oil heads, which alreadys has radiator and plumbing works.

BTW, if you really want to nitpick, the only real liquid-cooled engines are marine engines that draws in cool water into the cooling ducts and eject the hot water. Strictly speaking, all road-going engines are air-cooled, whether it has a radiator or just plain cooling fins.
