I was just about to post that picture, came across it a couple of weeks ago, but IIRC he's just selling the sidecar. I was half-way tempted to throw that side car on my '87 Yamaha Venture, but decided to bob the out of it instead.

If by some chance that Valkyrie is still available, jump on it. At a minimum I'd expect you to be able to sell it for that at any time you decided to get rid of it.

Does the bike lean or do you need to turn the bars?

Another vote for the Valkarie. At first glance I thought it was a Rocket III which is very cool.

you turn the bars

in looking at these bikes, alot of them have the rake adjusted, so that it turns even slower, i guess to prevent tipover at "higher" speeds.

yeah, you should probably extend the rake a bit, just like you would on a trike. I think about 3-5 deg. is typical, though on most cruisers the rake is already relaxed enough that you'd be ok.

I came across it when I was checking FZ1 prices, since I have an '07 I'm planning on selling. For $1500 (or less), I'm tempted to keep the FZ1 and turn in into a semi-permanent side car rig. But I'm not sure whether the Vetter Terraplane would bolt onto a bike without tubular frames. One thing interesting is that there appears to be a link to the front wheel near the brake caliper, as though it allows the rig to lean with the bike. Not sure...

I'd get the Ural. I have a friend you picks up and drops off his daughter on his bike everyday. Done so since she was 6 years old. He only lives about 6 blocks from the school though. His daughter is the envy of all the other kids. It's pretty funny.
