picked up a pit bike for the wife

at the last TMGP race the wife expressed interest in getting a little pit bike...
the one she saw that peaked her interest was an crf50.. could not find one that was worth a that they did not want a fortune for...
70's seemed to be a better dollar deal... so I found an xr70 in good shape and bought it at lunch time today....got a good deal on it so if i have to do some changes to it for her, it will still be fine...
when i get it home and get it cleaned up i will take some pics...already thinking of suspension and wheels and tires, got to tard it out.

got it home and got it unloaded, the wife fell in love with it right away... she can sit on it, have her knees bent and be flat footed on the ground... she loves that...
she was not dressed for riding and we have other things we need to do so she will not get to ride it today... but she wants to clean it up herself and then take pics... so i will get pics up eventually....now she wants to know when we can go to the katy track and play with it..

Going to look even better with curb feelers and one of those wooden bead seats.

Awesome, hopefully she doesn't lose interest like my old lady did and only ride hers once a year!
Congrats

that would be sweet, but she says no...for now.
if she gets to riding it and changes her mind, I have already priced the big bore kit for it and upgrades suspension...and forks... and...well you get the point..right now i am looking and wheel and tire options.. man I could easily spend 4 to 5 time more on the bike than i paid for it....for now though, she is just talking about putting around in the pits and parking area while the races are going on...I would like to put 12's on it and upgrade the suspension for her, but she is wanting to ride it like it is for awhile... but next season is several months away... so who knows

Congrats
well that is sort of what this bike is about.. she has a sportster and a dr200 that she never rides, but this bike is small enough for her to handle and she will be around folks who are riding...so hopefully this is a step to get her going again.
