I really can not stress enough that this is a day for NOOBS!!!! Pretty much any lap time under 2:20 will be pulled off the track. All you experienced folks have 20 some odd days to get out there, let the NOOBS have thier day..........

2:20 huh? I dont think I will have a problem with that one! I am not sure how long it took me to get around the track last time but I know guys were lapping me quick and in a hurry so I should be just fine. lol

You'll be fine Brena.......... we are trying to avoid more experienced folks blasting around scaring the noobs. We will have mandatory class sessions on this day to make sure the rider's get the info they need for body position, braking, acceleration, etc. ...... If you think you'll help out you signifigant other by showing them how..............do yourself and them a favor and stay home!!! I have taught every type of high risk sport you can imagine and have found the same is true everywhere. It is very difficult to learn or teach someone you are emotionally involved with. You have expectations and they don't want to dissapoint you which gets folks in over thier head VERY quickly. Sure, come out and provide moral support, but let them get what they signed up for..............professional instruction.

I was a noob on 1/27, I dont have a clue what my times were. 2/24 will be my second day. If I cant get track time, would you allow attedance for the class stuff only, for less money. If so how much class time will there be, and how in depth?

I am sure you dont know me by my user name, but maybe a pic of me will help.

The class room is for registered rider's only. With only two days under you, you will benefit GREATLY. Sign up is still open, but my guess is it will be full by Thursday pm. Only 7 left right now. I hope you already signed up for 2/24, it's full.

Ok, I have a question about the gear rule - I've read what was posted but would like to ask if exceptions are ever made.

My example: I wear a full Cortech suit (2-pc with zipper) with CE armour in the jacket and padding in the hip/knee of the pants. I also wear wrist-length armoured gloves.

RideSmart permitted them. Will y'all? (And does it matter if my bike won't go over 115 even with a tail wind going downhill?)
