I got a bike hater. I was minding my own business on the way to work. Fully geared up (as always) and going with the flow.

I put 20K miles on the bike in 14 months before I got pulled over for this.

10 to 1 that I could've beat the ticket though. Even with it the other way.

When i was pulled over for the same thing the cop said he stops everyone with the LP under the fender. said people who have the LP mounted there run the tolls and run from cops. I was just like whatever guy.

one reason i havent moved it on my current bike.

Here's mine. LED that came with the fender eliminator didn't light up much of the plate so I found this bilet aluminum one with 4 led's that lights up the whole plate well.

(note: 2 of the 4 led's are burned out on the plate light, the guy is sending a new one, its on the way, should be here tomorrow)

Can someone tell me the Texas law or city ordinance that this violates? The plate is in plain view from the rear and is unobstructed.

I argued with this guy for 15 minutes about my license plate. He tried to tell me that it must be mounted where the manufacturer mounts it. That's BS. He tried to get me on the plate light too until I showed it to him.
I got a ticket for the same thing. I didn't try to argue about it, I just put my license back to stock, took pics and told the judge I put it back and he dismissed it. After court, I put it back how I had it and haven't been stopped since. Some cops are just dickheads.
