PRIMARY PROJECT OBJECTIVE: to create a reliable, lightweight, fun, classy, economical commuter that can take some abuse.
SECONDARY GOAL: must not let the people down. OP MUST DELIVAR.

this is my 5th bike. so far 2 of them have been road worthy.

This is like a cb200 or cd200(minus the bodywork)
its not quite as cruiserish as a rebel.

i sold the dr500 engine with the dr250. i heard from them that it was unuseable...
Ive got funds for this bike now. im not sure if i will have time to do anything this weekend. If there is, i might have to bring the dented pipe and wheels to patrick

Man just take the pipe to any of the cheaper muffler shops and they will fix you up for cheap and quick.

He does the interior re-upholstering of classic cars and most recently two cop-car crown victoria's for my dad. Excellent work. Worth the drive and the expense. (Although might be a bit overkill for just a seat, he can definitely take a stock seat and make it one comfortable cushion)

that might be a bit overkill, but i appreciate the info. im really liking that brown seat i posted, but the +$200 price tag and drilling into the frame creates reservations over getting it.
