Ok, I have to find out how to get in on this. Step 1, lose 30 pounds so the bike has less to haul around!

I'm 200 with gear. Sid is 150. Difference is minimal.

However, I have dropped from 205 to 190 after cutting out sugar from my diet of mainly Dr. Pepper and I can now ride 2 hours straight, versus 20 minutes. Diet is a factor, but weight isn't as big of an issue as you might think. Look at some of the bigger 250+ really fast guys in CMRA....

Your welcome for the text. Hope the skating lessons were fun.

Kevin ended up 5th and and did a great job since his teammate Steven Skobel could not make the event. Ha.....Thank the lord for the red flag (timing loop). I did not have to put that heavy leather suit on. Maybe the lord was looking out for me.

Kevin told me you guys thought you had finished 4th. So, we called.

Congrats on your first WIN. TJ.

Race pace, 45 mins is probably too long for me. Trackday pace, i rode 6 sessions back to back and felt great. Prior, one 20 min session would kick my .

For any one who has not ever raced, or for that matter raced a Ninja 250, COME DO IT NOW. (Yes, I know, all caps is yelling) It's the most fun I've ever had on 2 wheels. After a restart of the race I battled with 4-5 other bikes and went thru turn 1 actually touching elbows with another rider thru the whole turn. In turn 8 I backed it in side by side with another Ninjette and we brushed leathers. Makes you feel like a MotoGP hero for just a little while.
Congrats guys! Great finish in tough conditions.

And yes, everyone, 250 endurance racing is great fun and pretty much less expensive than anything else you can do at the track. Get a 250, grab some buddies, and come race with us!
