Congratulations FASTLINE MINIs!!!

Round 8 CMRA 2012 Season

Fastline Minis has now added to their podium count this year by adding a FIRST PLACE OVERALL finish for the 2 hour mini bike endurance race!
Team members riding order this weekend was Sid Shaddock, Peter Shaddock and “Kraze” Kris Lillegard for the checked flag.

From the start of the race they wasted no time in accumulating laps on their Ninja 250 seemingly only battling the rain and slick track.

CONGRATUALTIONS to them!!!

Thanks Errbody!

BIG THANKS to Gavin, Ana, and the entire Fastline (MOTORCYCLE SCHOOL!!!!!!!!) Women's Mini "Leather and Lace" #33 team for the shared pit space and all the help and support...as always.

Our trusty little stock $750 Ninja 250 pulled like a champ and on South Central Race Center's rain tires was a flat track style, backing it in, sliding it out fun machine. I was able to get in the 1:35's on my short stint, with Sid dropping to the :33's, and F'ing Kraze Kris getting in the :31's...right near the fastest :30's laps set on street tires by another team. Endurance racing is just that...rewards for enduring the race. We moved up by attrition. We went to lunch after the race thinking we had 4th locked up. A text msg from 4th place TDK Racing let us know 1st and 2nd both had to pit right near the end and we slipped in 1st...woo hooo!

For any one who has not ever raced, or for that matter raced a Ninja 250, COME DO IT NOW. (Yes, I know, all caps is yelling) It's the most fun I've ever had on 2 wheels. After a restart of the race I battled with 4-5 other bikes and went thru turn 1 actually touching elbows with another rider thru the whole turn. In turn 8 I backed it in side by side with another Ninjette and we brushed leathers. Makes you feel like a MotoGP hero for just a little while.
