How does the bike run overall?
When was the last oil change?
Were the valves adjusted at 6k?
How does the air filter run?
Are you lubing/adjusting the chain regularly?

This and a valve adjustment. Most owners think they can find a bike forever before it needs any major maintenance like cars.

C'mon, guys. Have we all forgotten about the owner's manual? If you want to get the best care, check your service manual in the Owner's manual.

You are at the 10.3 Kmiles which is right before a major service at 12 Kmiles. There is a good list, mostly spot checks around your bike, but some major replacements include the Air Cleaner Element, Oil Filter Replacement, DRive chain lubrication, etc.

In case you do not have the book handy, here is a link where you can download it. It will be on the Left Bar under 'Maintenance and Adjustment'.

Be safe, keep your bike healthy.
